This Athame is in the style of a Swiss Holbein dagger of the 16th century but this style was popular in Germany as well around the 19th century. The hilt features a crescent-shaped pommel and crossguard which is characteristic of the Holbein dagger.The double edged blade is Pattern welded steel which is commonly sold today as “Damascus steel“.

An Athame is used for ritual and magical purposes only, to direct energy.
